Money Luck: Can Saju Tell When Money Comes In?

Wealth luck reads the flow of jaeseong. Regular vs. windfall wealth structures, timing incoming money, jaedasinyak: what to check before big money moves.

“Will there be a time this year when money comes in?” It is one of the questions that never fails to come up in saju (Korean four pillars) consultations.

The “tendency” of timing can be read. In saju, wealth is read through the flow of characters called wealth stars: in years and months when the wealth stars gain strength, income, results, and opportunities tend to stick, while in periods when the wealth stars are suppressed, money leaks out even when it comes in. That said, this is not an answer like “buy this stock” (it is a criterion for telling “is this a season for earning, or a season for protecting what I have?” Saju does not make investment decisions for you) it only helps you organize the timing of your decisions.

The ledger of money in and money out

Start with your wealth structure: direct wealth and indirect wealth

There are two kinds of wealth stars, and money attaches to each in a different way.

  • Direct wealth (jeongjae), money that builds up steadily. It matches salaries, savings plans, and stable assets. Direct-wealth types draw their strength from compounding time rather than one big hit.
  • Indirect wealth (pyeonjae) (money earned on the move. It matches business, investing, and fluid opportunities. For indirect-wealth types, money circulates in large amounts) but it also leaves in large amounts.

Even in the same “good wealth-luck year,” it becomes a year of salary and assets for a direct-wealth type, and a year of opportunity and expansion for an indirect-wealth type. Copying someone else’s playbook without knowing your own structure (a direct-wealth type mimicking an indirect-wealth type’s aggressive investing) is the most common way money trouble begins.

How to read when money comes in

First, yearly luck (seun) that brings in the wealth star. When the character corresponding to your wealth star (based on your day master, the “self” character of your chart) arrives as that year’s energy, income sources tend to grow or results start converting into money.

Second, stretches where the output stars feed the wealth stars. In saju, money comes in most healthily when the output stars (your activity and talent) flow into the wealth stars (money). A year when the energy of activity and the energy of wealth switch on together is what people call “the year your work turns into money.”

Third, periods when the peer stars grow strong are spending-caution zones. The peer stars clash with the wealth stars, so in these periods money leaks easily through partnerships, loan guarantees, and impulse spending. In such years, a plan to protect beats a plan to earn.

The flow and the leaking gap

Jaeda sinyak: when even plenty of money is a burden

A term you will often see in searches, jaeda sinyak describes a structure with many wealth stars but a day master too weak to handle them. Patterns like constantly spotting opportunities yet feeling overwhelmed each time you grab one, or money management itself becoming stress, belong here.

What this structure needs is not more opportunities but selection. Simply reducing the number of incoming opportunities and concentrating your strength on one can make the same chart flow differently. You cannot change the structure, but you can change how you run it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. So in a good wealth-luck year, should I just invest? It is not that simple. Wealth luck is not a market forecast, it marks the periods when your judgment and your opportunities line up. Even in a good year, investing without principles rarely ends well. Use it as one reference point before big decisions.

Q. If my chart has no wealth star, can I not make money? No. A structure where the wealth stars are not visible is closer to a type that earns money as a result rather than a goal. Riding the flow of expertise, reputation, and organizations (and letting wealth follow) is this structure’s path.

Q. Can saju also read the timing of big expenses (a home, a car)? It can. We look for periods when the wealth star stabilizes and the document energy switches on at the same time. For big decisions like a real-estate contract in particular, simply avoiding the months when your flow wobbles is meaningful in itself.

The core question of wealth luck is not “when do I get rich” but “how does money enter and leave in my structure?” Know the structure and the timing becomes visible; know the timing and decisions get easier.
